The ARC and Flame Center is happy to announce our 10th career fair which will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Rochester Arc + Flame Center, 125 Fedex Way. We would love to see as many of you as possible. Please RSVP by responding to this email, operations@rocafc.com no later than May 20, 2026.
Our facility will be open for students to approach as many of you as they’d like. We will also provide a classroom space for more involved conversations & interviews.
SETUP SUGGESTIONS:
- Please arrive at the Arc + Flame Center no later than 5:00 PM to allow enough time for setup. Our team of welding instructors will greet you and bring you to your designated table.
- You’ll have a minimum of a 2.5ft x 6ft table. If you need more space, let us know so we can be prepared.Please be sure to provide all your own promotional materials and job NOTE: We do not provide table cloths.
- Please bring examples of your finished products, photos, or videos as appropriate & available. Our students appreciate the opportunity to see what your company makes and repairs. Be sure to bring all the necessary equipment for setup including extension cords.
- We highly recommend that at least one representative from your company is a current welder.The students respond very well to companies who have a welder available to share their direct day-to-day work experience.
Important: Please bring enough copies of each Job Description(s) you are hiring for. Our students will be eager to learn about the position, your employee expectations, options for advancement within your company, and available benefits.
STUDENT INFORMATION:
- The event begins at 6:00 PM with guests arriving a bit earlier. We expect our current students as well as alumni to join us for the evening. (We anticipate approximately 50 people in attendance.)
- Our students will receive a list of employers prior to the event in hopes that they do research on each company in advance.
- The age of our guests ranges between 17 to mid-50’s, with the majority being between the ages of 20 – 35.
- Our students have been advised to be prepared with their resumes and questions for their potential employers.
